Old Florin Town Streetscape Project
Pritchard Road/McCurdy Lane to just east of McComber Street

The Sacramento County Department of Transportation is coordinating with the Sacramento Area Council of Governments (SACOG), the Sacramento Housing and Redevelopment Agency (SHRA), and the Sacramento County Planning Department to design and construct streetscape improvements on Florin Road between Pritchard Road/McCurdy Lane to just east of McComber Street.

The proposed project will include various transportation enhancements within the corridor based on the Old Florin Town Corridor Plan and Florin Road Streetscape Master Plan adopted by the Sacramento County. These improvements include:

• Landscaping.
• Raised medians.
• Lighting enhancements.
• Bicycle/pedestrian improvements.
• New curbs, gutters, and sidewalks.
• Transit stop and access improvements.

Design, 2009 to 2011
Environmental Study, 2009 to 2010
Right-of-Way Acquisition, 2010 to 2011
Construction, 2012

Funding

The estimated cost for this project is $7.5 million. Project costs will be funded by SACOG and the SHRA.
