Emergency Bridge Repair Project Completed
~Bridge Re-Opened April 8, 2010~

The Twin Cities Road Bridge over Snodgrass Slough was closed in early February 2010, due to a vehicular accident which damaged the bridge structure.

This emergency closure allowed Sacramento County to expedite repair work and minimize the time needed for closure of the bridge to the traveling public.

Work crews have completed structural and roadway deck repairs, and the bridge was re-opened to the public on April 8.

We understand the challenges and many inconveniences that commuters, residents and businesses experienced during the emergency bridge closure and repair process, and appreciate their patience.
